Flutter By Wednesday #174 Challenage

Here is a card that i created for this challenge . I used a stamped image by Wags N Whiskers her name is "Iris" i used the Fairy Flora paper by Prima and cut the label out with the Scallop circles by Nestibilities and then added a lot of random flower's some Prima and Iam Roses. I colored here with Crayola color pencils and blened it with Gamsol. Clink on the badge on the side bar to enter the Challenage they have a challenage every week. So here is my card that i made.

This weeks challenage was to create any project with the Theme being a Thank you or Thanksgiving project. .So for for my entry i made a Thanks Card with a Fall theme to it.

The paper i used was the Fall collection by DCWV this was from last year's collection and still have a lot of paper left over from this collection. So might as well put it to use this year. And the labels i cut them out with my cricut using the Lacy Labels cart this is a lite cart from Walmart and even the Thanks was cut from this same cart. And then i adhere a green feather and some Prima flowers that i stacked together to from roses and added some Prima bling from the E-line collection. This card i made for the Shopping in your Stash Challenge. Black N White and one other color. So This what i came up with a " Bonjour" card .

This card is for the Flutter By Wensday # 173 challenge. Using
butterfly, fairy or angel. I used a GFS and i used Stickles on her dress and added bling on the flowers on her head. She is poped up on a frame from Nestabilities that i inked with distress ink.

And added some Butterfly on each side.

Hi ladies i know i have been MIA for a while i just can't seem to get myself to post about anything. I hope that you all are having a wonderful day and settling down on the routine of Kids returning back to school.

I hope that you are already for the Biggest time of the yr with all the Holidays coming up by time you know it's time for a New Year. Ok enough know of alll my rambling. Here is a mini i lifted from Kathy she did a Ustream back in Dec or begining of Jan. on this mini , She has a U tube vidoe on how to make this pockets also just look her up on Paperphenomenon on both Ustream and Utube under that name to find her. I used "Eye Candy " paper collection from g.c.d Studios. I bought that paper at Biglots for $5.00 and it comes with 24 sheets of paper double sided. I used half of the stack to make this mini. I loved the paper so much that i went out to buy some more it has alot of the colors that i love which are Purples and Burgandy's those are my favorite colors.

Altered Frame

Here is an Altered frame i made for my son and his wife as a Christmas gift. I added alot of Prima flowers and bling actually all the flowers and bling is from prima The red and black flowers are the Craftable flowers that i GM. And the paper i used is from Websters Pages i also cut out the butterfly's from the same collection paper and glued them on top of the frame but only glued it in the center to give it a flying effect. All the emblishments are on top of the frame only th e paper and picture are on back of the glass just in case they want to change the picture out they can do that. I really love the way this turned out.

Bracelet and Earrings

Here are some Bracelets and Earring sets that i made as Christmas gifts . They where a big hit that my daughter wore one to work and asked if i could make some for them in there birthstone colors. so looks like i will be making more to sell them . I'm happy about that looks like someone does like my creations and i love making them but i have been just giving them away. Now aleast i will have extra money to be able to buy more beads to make.

Here is another project that i did for a daughter for Xmas .This will be one of her gift's taht give here it is a box. I used the Mariposa paper to cover the box. I also made the box out of chipboard. And used Prima flower all over it. For the handle on top i used a crytral from those that you use to put in flower pots i bought a whole bag a while back. Ane used a pearl stick pin for the very top of it and glued it down with my hot glue gun.

Here is a Thankgiving card that i made for a family member.
I have been busy today trying to get this done and in the mail before
Thanksgiving. The patern paper is from a swap that someone sent they sent me the 4.57x6.75 Paper pad by K&Company i love this paper. And the flower is from a Walmart they where on sale for .75 cents and i just took them apart. It was one of those flower bunches that you buy.

This ia Vintage Gift bag purse i did for a swap over at Scrapbook.com i had lots of fundoing this one. I used 2 gift bags and folded them in half and glued them together. The title is Vintagenista i used rub-on's for this. Added Lace that i Glimmer misted with Vintage rose and added pink pearls on top of the lace. the paper flower i got from a swap that i was in. The paper is from Graphic 45 and it was the Goddess collection that i used in all the pages. Thanks for looking.

I havn't been blogging often as i had said that i would i just can't find what to blog about. But i do today. I have been real busy lately. I'm a proud Grandma of 3 recently born Bebe's (babies) 3 wks ago my son had a baby boy. And Friday Oct 1 one of my older daughter had a baby boy also and then Tuesday Oct 5 my other daughter had a little girl her first i thought she would never give me a grandbaby. She's 26yrs and the oldest daughter that had the boy she's 27 and this is her 3rd. And my other son his 20yrs his first also. So now that makes 7 GB and i couldn't be more Happy 3 all at the same time. But they all know that they can not call me Grandma . All of my GB have to call me Mame which is Mommy in spanish. No calling me Granny. LOl.

Mardi Gras Mask

Here is a Mardi Gras Mask i did for a swap i'm in. I Glimmer misted the black paper with Black Magic and then added Stcklels all around the bottom of the mask. Added purple bling around the eyes and the top and the swirls. The top lace is in white with gold trim in it. Added feathers in purple and black and a couple of red ones. I so enjoyed doing this mask that my two DD have asked if i can make them one for Halloween.

Home at last

I'm home at last after a 6 wk vacation. It wasn't what i had in mind but at least i got to go see my brother's in TX. My plans where goingto MX but it didn't work out i needed a Pass port to get across. And i don't have one as of know working on it. I had to go get lots of info on my mother. She has been passed away 15yrs . So just trying to dig for info was trying. So hopefully they will accept what i got. And give it to me.

I'm glad to be back home. One thing that i did enjoy doing was being able to return to the place that i grew up in. It has been 28yrs since i have been back. I was able to get ahold of 4 of my best friends in school; and that was so awsome.

Just a note to let all my friends taht i'm doing just fine and getting ready for the summer. I will have less time to create as kids are home and off from school. I will be spending alot of my time with them and we are going out of the country to go visit my in-laws for the summer also. I know that i have not been posting as i had promised at the being of the year i just didn't know that it would be so hard. As to not knowing what to post regularly. But i guess i can post projects that i do and show everyone my projects. I have done a few Mini Albums that i didn't take picture of our took a Video of. I do have to get more on the ball but i'm afraid that it will not be till after the summer when the kids are back in school. I hope that you all have a wonderful summer and take alot of picture's to make LO's with and Mini's.

Ladies here is the matching Door hanger to the box that i did. I had to make a Door Hanger and alter a box for a swap and my theme was fairies and this is what i come up with. All the flowers i hand made and the butterfly's i bought at M's also the garland. The small flowers are the only ones i didn't make the purple ones those are from Prima.

Here is a mini alblum in a tin that loved making for a swap as you see on one side of the tags i have put an extra tab on top that you slide to the side that gives more places for pictures or journaling.

I did these tags using the "A Child's Year" cart on the cricut i cut them out at a 31/2 inches i did them in the scallop and the circle. The flower i cut those with the " George And Basic Shapes" cart .

I cut those in the shadow feature and regular feature. The pink ones i cut those using the shadow feature 2 flower at 3inches 2 at 2.5 and the green ones i cut those on the regular feature in the same size as the pink ones.

Here are some flowers i did using the my cricut using the Graphically Speaking cart and using image 33 on page 60 the scallop. you cut 4 scallops any size you want but make sure all your cut out are the same. Depending on the size that you cut will give you a differant size flower. i will post a step by step on doing these in a few days .

I'm stuck on a war zone today and have been for a few days if you all MOM"S know what i mean with a couple of sick kids at home a 3yr & a almost 2yr olds and have many swaps that need my attention also that i need to get finished ASP. Being a MOM is one of the hardest job's out there and the sad thing is we don't get paid for it in $$$ but we do get paid back in HUGS & KISSES. And that in it's self is priceless to us loving MOMS. I love my children but they do drive me up the sometimes. LOL I find that doing most of projects at night when they are sleeping but some night I'm just to tried to do anything but hit the bed also when they do . But normally i don't go to bed till 11-12pm every night. They go to bed at 9pm so i try to clean up a little when they go to bed then if i have time do my fun stuff which is scrapbooking, crocthing, or relaxing with my the love of my life yes ladies DH. He works long hrs so i try to spend time with him also that's what keeps the marriage going . You all know that is another job we have is keeping our partner happy right. So ladies tell me what is the most important thing in your life and how do you deal with war zones and try to keep any if any sanity in your home and find time to enjoy your hobbies.

Here is an Accordin mini that i did for a swap i used Vintage Photo distressed ink by Tim Holtez and used paper by Webster's collection. I used a regular file and scored it at 4 inches to create the flaps that folde up to stick your tags in. Then open your file and fold each side to the center and gives you 4 panels. Then fold it as an accordin and ink up all the edges and decorate it as you like on both sides. The flower i made with the same paper.

Happy New Year everybody i hope that you all are ready for a New year all the fablous things that come with it. My DH gave me some $$$ to go shopping at my favorite store for the New Year. And yes i went shopping all day friday so one of my great buys that i wanted for a while is a Cuttlebug so i got me one . I have a the Cricut but as you all know it doesn't emboss so that's why i wanted the Cuttlebug. So i have been messing with it a little can't do much on it with the kids at home on Xmas Vaction but today they went back so i just might get to play with it. My girls never gave me a chance to play with it without them wanting to play also that's my 10yr old and 6 yr old girls. So i'll see what i come up with and try posting my work.

Ok it's getting close to Xmas already i hope that everybody is alomost ready for it. I know that i'm not it's gets kind of hetic at this time trying to find the gift for love ones.
